Are Female Screen Stars Stand For The Symbol Of ‘What Not To Be Done?’
Stars on the screen become the point of discussion, lime spot and controversy every now and then. It’s because of the grand stature movie got in the public pulse. The protagonist role makers always hit the audience spot of appreciation and their personal opinions also spins in the zone of public impact.
Bollywood is the grand box of the entire nation. Khan’s chain is the gigantic fandom won brand. Among them Saif Ali Khan is the big buzz. His daughter Sara Ali Khan is about to make her debut on the screen. But Saif Ali Khan portrayed the father role perfect through his comments at the time of his interview to DNA. ‘Look at her educational background. How can she turn up for film career? Why don’t she live and work in New York rather than picking this? I don’t look down acting. But it’s most unstable profession. Like any other father I dream of my child living fearless and secure’ are his comments in that interview.
Movie is like any other kind of career which can be opted and there’s equal risk of survival in any profession. Then why so particular about acting? When star’s sons come out to become grand as their heirs why don’t it happen with their daughters then? What it exactly stands for? What exactly safety and security mean here?
A negative version for making film career for women has its origin from a very long time. But if the stardom families of strong establishment themselves pre attach the same notions what would it mean? When something is good for male as career option and the same turns up as a not so safe to pick up option for daughters then what sense of democratic atmosphere is in the air?
The origin starts at the home always. When everyone starts wearing different masks at home and public how can the real grounds build? Whatsoever they call a father heart or anything the ideology will not become so mean with gender bias. The incidents of daughter entry into films have happened in tollywood as well. Though Saif now comfortably supports himself saying that he support his daughter Sara’s decision of making debut with Sushant Singh Rajput with the movie Kedarnath his earlier comments display the narrow version of their inbuilt attitudes towards women. Let’s not make the simple comment so big but the simple question of respecting role as a role rather than being gender specific and sensitive is what the answer hour awaiting.
